At Christ Deaf Church, it is essential that all ministries and programs are conducted in a hospitable and safe environment. Staff and volunteers undergo a training and background check in order to ensure children and youth are always safe from abuse.
If you are considering volunteering at Christ Deaf Church please fill out the Reference and Background Check Form (information is kept confidential). Volunteers who need to update personal information can fill out the Update Personal Information Form.

Please click on the Safe Church Training link to see an overview of our policies.
When you have read and become familiar with the policies, take a moment to take the quiz. The quiz is based on the Safe Church Training document (see above).
Any suspected abuse is to be reported to the pastor, and depending on the severity of the allegations, to Maryland Child Protective Services at 410-853-3000 (open 24 hours a day).
